Had A Very Sad Christmas

So,so sorry to hear your news but you should of put it up love,i lost my mum a week before xmas.So i know how you are feeling.My partner is a woman and she had breast cancer,she would never of known,it was her 50th birthday when she got the oppointment i was with her.She had the op and had to go to Christies,for radiation but there was girls there only 19 and younger.So please if you do get an oppointment please go.Keep your chin up love. :thumbsup:
 
Hi Emma here, very sad news my heart goes out to you all, we had a terrible christmas too, I had an operation on the 22/12/2008 and had many complications fever, infection dyhydration, e- coli , heavy blood loss, two more operations christmas day, still finding my feet and just glad to be here, awaiting for my bi- opsy results which I am struggling with, on an emotional roller coaster last few days :luck:

So sorry to hear about your loss Dana - it is hard to lose someone at any time but, like you say, it seems worse at Christmas when everyone is jolly.

I agree with you, and everyone here, to keep any appointments for mammograms etc but - could I also add - all ladies please check yourselves reguarly - my family has a history of breast cancer, beginning under 30 in two of my aunties - before mammograms are offered - so please check. :thumbsup:
