Remus is a strong-looking dog. I bet he's got some stamina?!

Thanks for that he looks really good, you see you learn something everyday now I know what a half bull greyhound is

Nice, I like him  roughly what part of the country are you in?

*Lesley* you did'nt have a clue

Spoke to woman other day with one...says she's had it for nearly 2 years, I said you could see the bull especially in its face, she looked a bit puzzled and said what'd I mean, so I said could see the x coming through in certain aspects, then she laughed and asked if i was joking...she's actually assumed all this time that when she got it from the dog pound and they told her it was half greyhound, half bull they meant half bullsh*t(ie they did not believe/know the x!) Could only happen around here :p

I understand the half greyhound bit, but what is the 'bull' half? Is it staffie? and if it is, does that mean that you sometimes end up with some greyhound height puppies, and some staffie height puppies?

I'm not being flippent (just dim  ) but I thought that pups would take either the mum or dad's size, or is greyhound the stronger gene?

Either way, he is a fantastic looking dog and the pups look lovely

do these bull crosses come under the dangerous dog act?

sadly, yes they do. any cross or mongrel that has 'fighting dog' heritage falls into that catagory. even if the dog hasnt, but does look like it has, if you cant prove its 'innocence', for lack of a better term, it can face extreme prejudice from the public, police and prosecuters :( i've been watching the events in france and germany, and although i believe in punish the deed, not the breed, in those countries these lovely animals would be pts without hesitation for what they MIGHT do, based on their breeding.
