another question[expect lots of them] we go caravaning when we can get away and of course any dogs always come to what i need to know is can i walk them on a flexi lead with a harness which is what i have always done with the standard poodle that i have also her brother untill we had to give him sleep about 6 months ago

Shouldn't be a problem

In fact I think it's better to use a harness with a flexi-lead as a collar can be too severe on the neck if they are running to the extent of the lead and come to a sharp halt when the line runs out (w00t)

Hi Sue, how do you normally secure your dogs to your caravan - do you use a flexi lead? We also got ourselves a caravan last year (husband likes to tell people he bought it for Merlin), however at times it's a bit of a pain because of having to keep the dogs secured, we had a few incidents of him getting tangled up and even pulling the bbq over. We now have 2 whippets so god knows how we will find it with two of them secured and play fighting with each other! We may have to sell the caravan and just go on cottage holidays from now on!
