I'm afraid Barney can't have cake - he's not known as Barney Bunter for nothing! Ours had pilchards in tomato sauce with their breakfast, and I have a tin of pink salmon for their tea. My culinary skills aren't as good as yours Tina:clown: Happy 1st Birthday to Belle and her litter mates :clown: will there be pictures with birthday cake :-

Just noticed the title of this thread - Peppermint Lady litter - I bet she felt like she had given birth to them when she eventually got them home from the vets in the snow
Of course it was Grace - Peppermint Lass who was the proud mummy. I still remember how she let me go in with her and the pups in the den, and how she had a slightly worried look at first, but after I talked to her in a quiet reassuring voice, her look turned to a look of trust and she was so proud of her babies  I knew I had been accepted as OK when she got up and left me with the pups while she went for her dinner - Grace does love her food
