Can't believe that a year has gone by already - but my Fletch is one today ^_^

Happy Birthday to his sisters Raven and Tilly and brothers Solo and Razz :cheers:

Can't wait to see them all on the track soon!

Yes - the pups were born on a good day (Can't you remember our postings about Duncton Birthday Boy? I think that it was your idea Barbara) Anyway - Thanks on both counts! The boys have to stay at home while I am off celebrating in style at Alton Towers (or comiserating - I am getting old now :wacko: ). Judy and Nigel have promised to keep their clothes on so we should have a good time (will try and get some pictoral evidence to prove it!)

Got back from Alton Towers at just gone 10pm last night - absolutely shattered. Darcia has aged by more than just one year after that :lol: Had a good meal and just a few drinks the night before to celebrate her birthday though! Happy Birthday to Fletch too.

The nicest ride was Air - it was great as you can pretend you are flying - loved it

Most nerve racking - Nemesis. Made mush of your brain - kind of felt as if it was smeared round the inside of your skull. Oblivion was fine the first time round but second time we got stuck right at the top for about 10 minutes, just before the vertical drop. Somebody came up to tell us it was just a technical hitch (w00t) . He kept saying "there is absolutely nothing to worry about" After about the third time he said it, I started to get really worried :unsure: I didn't like the way that we had to be first over the edge to test it out (w00t) We lived though :sweating:

Funniest - The Log Flume. Rob got soooooo wet. :lol: He was in the front and all I can remember is seeing an enormous bow wave of water come flowing over the front of the boat and dump itself in Rob's lap. Us three behind him were in hysterics for the rest of the ride and for about an hour afterwards. Me and Darc were nearly crying with laughter. I'm still laughing just thinking about it now - It was the way he yelled "You have to be JOKING!!!!!!!!!!!" as he stared down at his lap.He said he thought it would be just a little splash! :lol:

We had to wait for 1hr and 45 mins for a ride on Rita - new this year. It broke down twice whilst we were waiting. It was worth it though and was the only ride that turned me into a screamer. Once I started, I couldn't stop. I've lost my voice this morning Never been on anything that took off so quickly in all my life - Jeeezus, it was good! :sweating:

No pictures unfortunately. They take photos atomatically of everyone on all the rides but we never managed to get a good one of all four of us. In the Log Flume picture you couldn't see Rob's face 'cus he was looking down at his crotch. I don't think he could believe how wet he was. (w00t) Oh dear! thats started me off again, it really was just sooooooo funny :lol:

Just reading your post has made me start crying again - it was SUCH a good laugh! Rob said that he is just about dry now, he still can't believe that such a small drop (in Log Flume terms) brought about so much water - I did add to that water by crying with laughter so much :lol: (He even managed to get the wettest on the Rapids too - a feat that I usually do!)

Rob just said that he is glad that he can make everybody laugh - I bet you can picture it, can't you Barbara/Hannah???

Some great memories again - and we didn't break our wrists on Rita!

Also thanks for all the birthday wishes for Fletch and I!
