Well I thought we was pushing it to hope they'd still be around but I'm delighted to say a huge happy birthday to Soapy Joe and Buffalo Bill. :huggles:
If you don't already know, Joey and Bill were from the fantastic litter Maddison X Homebird which also produced Evita, Casino, Madson, Riddler and Chisum who sadly passed away last week. Not only did these dogs do brilliantly in racing but they're longevity and good health is something any breeder should be particularly proud of.
Me and Tony caught up with the Lynch family's Buffalo Bill and Son Of A Bitch at the weekend and I got a few piks, thanks Lesley, made my day seeing Bill and getting a cuddle. :huggles: Will post them later and get some prints for you Lesley. :thumbsup:
Joey is a bit of a doormouse these days liking his sleep but he does his daily walk on the moss still and when it's pleasant and cool he'll go running around which has us panicking because we're convinced he'll have a cardiac. Old man stops eventually and stands there laughing at us, god bless!
It'll be heatbreaking when they go but while they're happy and relatively healthy, every day is a precious one.
