Hare Coursing Or Lure Coursing- The Real Test?

What is the greater test of a whippets ability? Lure coursing or Hare coursing

Probably not mate, I suppose I`m fortunate in that I`ve enjoyed coursing for a long time now, some people haven`t been that lucky due to the ban :rant:

the hare, given sufficient start depending on the breed of dog, is obviously the ultimate test , but perhaps they enjoy seeing their dogs running and dont fancy the idea of catching a hare, its each to their own :cheers:
 
live. doesnt have to be a hare, a wet stormy session on the lamp, a days ferreting on a cold day when their stood around waiting for the ferrets to do the job getting cold and seize the only and difficult chance of the day. Ratting amongst barns when ratty is backed up in a corner and aint giving up lightly. thats what tests a dog.
