GOOD THATS WHAT I WANT TO SEE PLENTY OF PEOPLE, LAST YEAR I HAD CHEW WITH ANTIS TAKING MY SIGNS DOWN AND HAD THE POLICE AT THE SHOW SAYING SOMEONE HAD PHONED TO SAY THERE WAS DOG FIGHTING DVD BEEN SHOWN, WHEN THERE WASNT, AND SPREADING IT ABOUT THAT THE SHOW WAS CALLED OFF DUE TO A OUT BRAKE OF PARVO, ALL RUBBISH, WE STILL HAD A GOOD TURN OUT, jeff

might try and make it.

Nice trophies.

GREAT LOOKING TROPHIES JEFF WELL WORTH WINNING :D

coming to your show for first time, been to others last year but was just getting started with showing. can you tell me what time you start and if there is ringside parking, cheers tracy

This is what trophies used to look like, when i started going to shows all those years ago.Now at 80%of shows, you could probibly get two, into a good sised pocket, and the entry to each class used to be £1.Now its £2.And thats after paying anything up to £10,to get in at the game fairs, although a normal lurcher show is usualy £2.Exelent trophies Jeff,i wish there was more like you.Thats the type of effort that is needed to keep people coming back, and stopping shows from dying away. Ihope other show organizers see these, and get the finger out,so they can dig deeper into the pocket. You'll not put a dozen of those boy's in a shoe box. ...Billy...

try going to horse shows!!

£10 + to entre. and only rossettes to 6th place!! Hardly ever any throphies.

I think lurcher shows are great value and the rossettes/trophies are great.

I have just been reading with interest some of the comments regarding the size of trophies. I am responsible for ordering trophies for The Manor Lurcher Club. Over the years I have been doing this the trophies available have become both more expensive and, frankly, quite tacky. Most of the people I have spoke to would prefer to take home something more tasteful. It is, in their opinion, not a question of the size of the goodies you take home, or even that the show producers being meanies. However, if this becomes the general opinion and competitors prefer larger trophies then I am sure if I get enough feedback, at any future shows Manor put on we would look to rectifying this. Lets not get too materialistic about this. I thought lurcher shows were all about having a good day (or weekend) out.
