Don't suppose anyone on here got a Chestfield leather sofa on here if so how good are they :D .Iv,e got a normal leather one but hubby wants a Chesterfield one,i,ve see one in a sale and its also does a sofa bed too which i,m intrested in.The company is based in Cardiff,Wales.

Hi Dawn

i used to have one but to be totally honest i didn't find it at all comfortable :- "

I must say though that they are really hard wearing and sturdy

Dawn

Hi.

We had a Chesterfield. The mr's got it whilst I was away at work.

Got rid of it because it had high arms - I like to lie/sprawl out. :- "

I would honestly say that the springs started to give, and we only had it about 18 months. -BUT- we did have young kids jumping up & down on it when our backs were turned.

sorry I can't give more advice than that.....

Hi Dawn,

We used to have one - nice and hard wearing but the back was not high enough to be that comfy - so swapped it for a different leather sofa! :D

They look nice, but definitely not comfy.

mmmmmmmmmm i think i agree Debs, they do like nicebut i want the comfort too also i find with some sofa the cushions you sit on tend to get flatter as time goes on(my fat bum  ) so i want a nice comfy firm cushion :D

Unless you're really tall you can't rest your arm on the side or across the back (w00t)

Guess they're ok in a setting like Lewtrenchard Manor but I've got a couple of ordinary leather sofas coming in March sometime

The things I do for my girlies  :)

Hi Dawn,

I've got to disagree, I love my chesterfield :( lol Once worn in I think they are comfy, our sofa is rather battered now and is in the kitchen for the dogs, we got a new leather last Christmas but it's already scratched to bits with them jumping all over it :( I do think they are more harder wearing for the hounds.... well for my hounds anyway lol

This is gonna be my last chance to get a new sofa,i just can't make me mind up.I,ve got a catalogue here from a company called SOFASOFA and they have a sale, but i,m gonna have ne with a sofabed.

My auntie has one....personally I think they are quite cold and ugly looking  and as some have already said definitely not comfie...

I have a leather one .....nice squidgy soft one...

we had a chesterfields years ago.id never have another one.theyre cold and uncomfortable but yes they do look nice.ive got leather sofas now but the leather is much softer and it feels warmer somehow and theyr much more comfy!

Hi Dana,we have got a leather one(soft but i don't like it as one of the seat cushion has got flatter and its fixed into the settee so can't get it restuffed.I've see a sofa i like, a material one and looks comfy too and the seat cushions come out :sweating: We are having a disagreement here at the moment (w00t) :D

Janis we are talking about sofas here :- " ;) (w00t)

I like the shape of Chesterfields-

If you're getting one get a good one-there are some crappy leather suites about...

Only problem with the deep buttoned Chesterfields is they collect dust/fluff in the button holes!

And yes-I do know this can be overcome by dusting-ha ha ha- before anyone says it.Lol

Heard a gross request on a recycling site....

Someone was looking for a leather suite for their incontinent cat :x
