Things to me seem to have gone backwards. I don't see any improvement what so ever. The question of drugs keeps amazing me, you would think that lottery prize money was at stake! Would the money wasted on drug testing not be better spent on improving facilities and tracks, as we all know this is supposed to be a hobby and nothing is gained by cheating.

hi steve as karen let you on computer. i think your bang right, the money would be better spent on other things .

why not put some of it towards trophy's i for one dont like racing just to get my entry fee back, end of the day i like to have something to show for racing my dogs.ie when they retire its nice to have something to remind us of when the dog was racing. nice to hear from you steve.

Hi neil yes i am allowed on for about ten minutes but its Laura who is on the most i am glad that you feel the same. There was a well known racer who said that drug testing was just a way of getting rid of the people who won't conform or are not Yes! people how true that is i dont know maybe someone will enlighten me.

steve i do think it is a waste of money, if it is to carry on why dont they get someone who knows what there doing to take the samples, ie a vet, someone qualified to do it

hi steve you are right they could add some prize money on for the bigger dogs as at the moment listen to neil they dont seem to be getting much from to sport . I can remember back about 10years ago when we had material girl there used to be a good 5 heats in the no limits, 40lbs, and 36  so the prize money used to be quite big there is not that many people racing the bigger dogs now also i think this drugs carry on is getting well out of hand now thats all you hear latley

What really aggrevates me is that whenever the samples are taken there is always 1 that leaks, how is this, surely when it happened once the committe should have the sence to make sure it doesn't happen again!!!  I think a couple of times this has also happened with committee members dogs.

the urine sample bottles should never leak they are made not too. i agree wot u say about trophies. at every open there should be a trophy for every winner eg pups, yearlings dog winner bitch winner, vet, scratch racing etc. its alot more fun when u could get a good looking trophy.

well said anthony, but is anyone listening?

In years gone by trophies were almost always given, at most opens, but people who ran a lot of dogs and were lucky enough to win a lot, thought money was possibly better for them, to cover expenses etc.

It would be nice for new comers to the sport, to be able to have the choice of either money or trophies, although this may be alittle more difficult to arrange.
