I have had great results with my two Whippets over the past month after applying his ideasNockie has been a shocker on lead as she is very head strong and I was just not leading her 100% of the time. Any trouble I have had with her on lead has been my fault not hers. When she sees that I am not leading the pack she takes over. It's imprinted into her DNA she can't help it, someone must lead the pack.

I think the main thing though in correcting any dog behaviour issues is admitting to yourself that first there is a problem and second and more importantly that it is yourself that is the cause of it.  That is the hardest pill to swallow but is something that is necessary before you can actually train a dog effectively.
