Get use to it  :D am sure my 2 have competitions to see who can smell the house out first  :D

we cut our 2 and they are walked/run on grass and hard surface. take her to a vet and am sure they will be glad to show you how to clip them

WhenI switched my dogs' food from commercial cr*p  to the raw food diet, their wind problem dropped dramatically. Occasionally, I now get the odd garlicy one :x but it's nothing like it was! (w00t)

Do a search on diet and you will find that this is a hotly debated topic!! At the end of the day, you have to decide what's best for your whippet and you. You get out what you put in, so if you can't stand the stink, change the diet.

Hope that helps! :)

Re the season thing - I'm no expert, but I think anytime between 6 months and 18 months? Depends on the bitch. Ask her breeder what her mother's (the dog's mother, not the breeder's!) cycle is like and that of her sisters, if known. :)

And we need pictures! :D

Re the nails , have you not a friend nearby who can show how to cut nails ?

A vet will charge for about £7.00 upwards !! (w00t)

Being nosey :- " what part of the country are you and do you have a chance to go to a show where someone will help with the nails :p

Re Farting , maybe aslight change of diet , but all my whippets eat the same and only a couple have a `personnal problem ` t

Re season`s as said , anytime from 6 months

welcome to K9

Our boys fart- but not as much now that they`re on Eukanuba biscs and fresh meat.

Liz cooks them a little beef mince or a chicken joint. They have only a tablespoonful under their biscuits at bed time.Otherwise it`s bonios. shapes and marrowbone biscs.Magic gets slowly off the settee and lets off a noisy but harmless blast straight at the wife! :teehee: I`ts killing! :))

I blame my farting on my anti-inflamatories!Hope this all helps!Gavin

I agree with Jax in that their nails need clipping often to it is cheaper if you can do it yourself

For farting mine used to be really bad especially after chicken wings but they don't seem as bad since they got older although from time to time we do need to leave the room :x

My girls came in season at 10 and 11 months but they are sisters so we expected their timing to be close and it was

Many thanks for this......

i did try and add a pic, said it had done it but ....... Im rubbish

will try again
