Hi my name is Calin but most call me fossil I am the proud parent of a 2 year old Patterdale I bought off a farmer that never took him to a vet for any injections. His name is Sizzle and he knows tricks in sign language YIP you read right.

Hiya Fossil,

My oldest wants to be palaeontologist or paleobotanist when he grows up so we like fossils too. Patterdale's are lovely dogs. Don't know how you feel on injections but personally I wold do at least one if the dog ahs never had one. I do feel we over vaccinate our pets as the studies show immunity to everything but Lepto and Kennel Cough to last several years, and I recognise pros and cons to the vac issue, but I've been through parvo twice ( both dogs were vaccinated within days of getting the disease - one when the disease was first released and he was in a vet for surgery, the other had had his 2nd puppy shot). I can tell you it is nightmare of epic proportions.
