Hi folks, hope everybody is well. I haven't been on here for ages since there have been many great changes in my life over the past couple of years. Predominantly these changes involve me leaving home, buying my own flat, meeting my girlfriend and this week actually having my girlfriend move in with me! The term "whirlwind" doesn't really do the past year and a half justice!

Anyway, one of the unwanted side effects of leaving home is of course the fact that my/our whippet Monty has stayed with mum & dad on the farm so I don't see him as much as I used to :( However, I only live four miles away so I'm back there to go walkies and play most weekends :)

Now, the main purose of this post - since I left home my mum's desire to get a second whippet for Monty to play with has increased. She was on here browsing the other day for litters but as she's not too computer-literate she didn't make much progress. I wondered whether anybody who has or is going to have a litter soon could let me have details that I could pass on to mum. She would particularly like a fawn dog / bitch if possible and has told me that all she ever seems to see are blue / black litters at the moment.

So, if you have fawn puppies let me know (PM me with your number and a photo perhaps and I'll pass it on).

I'm going on holiday for two weeks as of Wednesday so don't be insulted if I don't reply. I'll deal with it all when I get back.

Many thanks!

Graham

Hi Graham and welcome back  Sorry I can't help with the pup but it's good go hear that things are going well for you. I remember well the sad occasion of dear old Merlin's death (can't believe it was 4 years ago!!). :( Think it touched a chord with me as it was so close to our Josh dying and he was only 10 too. Anyway, glad that Monty is doing well and good luck in your search for a companion for him. :luck: Let us know how you get on and it would be good to see some photos of Monty now and your new pup when your mum gets him/her. :))

Thanks guys.

Oh, I should add that mum would probably consider a rescue whippet* too so long as it would get on okay with another dog.

* - as in a whippet that needs rescuing, not a whippet that is trained to go up mountains to find stranded people :teehee:
