I have just joined this forum. I have owned dogs all of my life and presently we have three. They are Hannah, rescued by me on holiday in Crete in 2007 when she was a puppy abandoned on the beach. After staying in rescue kennels in Crete until she was ready to come home to us the following Spring she arrived in the UK. Hannah is now 12 and still going strong. She is a cross breed, smooth coated and medium in size but definitely hound-y! We also have Otto our miniature Schnauzer who is 4, had him as a puppy and Grace, a sheltie who I rescued from Many Tears last year. I previously had a beautiful sheltie Isla who sadly died of kidney disease at only 9. Grace though has developed a heart problem (leaky valve) and is on all sorts of medication which is a problem. She is a lovely girl though and I adore her. Well that's my lot!
