My dog doesn't have arthritis but in the hope of preventing problems we are using a supplement called Ageility and a bioflow magnet on his collar.

My 11-year-old lurcher has arthritis and dodgy hips - he's on anti-inflammatories (Onsior) now, along with double-dose YuMove Plus, and doing well on them.

It's worth trying the bioflow collar - I've had one for years and years - worked for some dogs not others. Acupuncture that you are about to try might work for you too - helped one of my dogs recover from a cruciate injury without surgery. Nutritionally, there is a number of supplements you can try, and homeopathically I've had a lot of success with the combination of Rhus tox, Ruta graveolens and Arnica, known as RRA. Good luck with your dog's treatments.

It's worth trying the bioflow collar - I've had one for years and years - worked for some dogs not others. Acupuncture that you are about to try might work for you too - helped one of my dogs recover from a cruciate injury without surgery. Gulliver is on advanced yumove, paracetamol, amantadine and fortaflora.
He is very sensitive to some of the other medications like previcox and cartrofen, as he has an immune deficiency so can’t take them.
Has anyone used librela apparently a antibody medication rather than a pain killer?

I can’t honestly say. I use it for prevention so I don’t have a base line to benchmark it, but my soon-to-be 12 year old boy has just done zoomies round the garden and launched himself off the garden wall (yes, my heart is hammering …).

There are people who swear the bracelets are transformational and others who say they made no difference; so my view was that it can’t do any harm so he may as well have it.
