Help Needed

id just trail with one dog at 1st so he can choose which way he wants to go for a few weeks

Good advice that from Chris--i would do the same but only run the dogs about 50 yards ---but many times ---

pick a dog it can pass quickly

Then extend bit by bit --and then try three again --

learn them just one thing at a time -----repetition is the best way for good results--

steve
top reply steve whats the rush

Peronally I'd take him back to solos for a while then give him somthing he can pass straight away for a couple of weeks if he's only a pup why rush ! :luck:
Have to agree I would make it easier not harder for Milo, back to a few solo's then if you can find something suitable i personally would do a few handslips with a dog by his side so he knows its there from the start, maybe only halfway or so at first and then if he passes or runs clean at the side then do easy trials full distance and then make it a little harder, racing should be fun for them at first not breaking there necks to catch something miles in front - just my way of thinking  Yes I am 'old fashioned' in the way i was taught to train dogs and 'old' now too
have to agree with trojan and robdog making it harder for him will only make him worse he will probaly chase the dog in frount down and then because he has put so much effort in the last thing on his mind will be passing

good luck

gary
back to solos pam and dont be in rush to mix him just let him mature then i give him few slips on bends then when think hes ready put him past few peddies i see dog run he should be ok just needs time
