Got an 8 week old Lhasa Apso boy last Saturday. He’s great and full of fun and personality. However 2 issues we are having with him.
- Biting. He is bad for biting. Not vicious or snapping, but basically just chewing on fingers and toes. Anything that wriggles. It’s more of a teething bite and doesn’t break the skin yet, but can be painful. He does have teething toys, but seems to prefer the families digits. Whats the best way to deal with this?
- The more serious issue is toilet training. He is urinating and defecating everywhere apart from the puppy pads we got. He never does it when off the floor on a bed or chair so he obviously has some control, but the floor is fair game. We put him on the pad as soon as we catch him and give him a row, but that wee tail starts wagging and it’s hard to be tough on him. He has not had all his jags, so we can’t let him out yet and we won’t do crate training sorry, so does anyone else have any tips?
Thanx
