Hi Everyone

My name is Lynne. We haven't got a whippet yet but are hoping to change that soon!

I have really enjoyed seeing all the photos of your beautiful dogs and am impressed with all the great advice given on the forum.

If I can manage to post a photo, you can see the present V.I.P resident members of the family.

Dinah (the black one) is a 6 year old chihuahua, Bridget (the deranged one) is 4 years old and we have a 17 year old cat called Dylan.

Good luck with your future new addition....whippets get on well with other breeds, but are very lively and playful as pups. Some initial close supervision will be necessary to ensure your two Chiuhuahuas don't become overwhelmed with the chasing and play if one of them is a bit nervous.

I'm honestly not trying to put you off....a whippet will make a super addition to your family.....forewarned is forearmed is all I am saying

I always put their fleece jumpers on when it's cold otherwise they both sit in front of the gas fire glaring at me :angry:

I plan lots of distractions in the first few days so hope it works :luck: They are quite scared of big dogs but should be okay with a pup. :luck: :luck: :luck:

We often joke that Bridget must have Italian Greyhound in her genes as I have never seen a chihuahua that can run so fast so hopfully they will all be racing around together playing games before long.

Is there anyone else on K9 who has little dogs and whippets together?
