Hello and welcome to K9 Diane and Milligan :)) from Lynne and the dogs.

Hi and welcome to k9!

I have seen "Teeton Mill" in a number of show results on k9 and I have a pic of him in a biennial.

I have often wondered about his show name - can you tell me how it came about? Did you breed him yourself?

Hi there,

The history behind Teeton Mill is as follows, My mother breed him. He is by CH Oakbark Millennium Gold and out of Desert Orchid. The family always chose famous

race horse names. I choose Teeton Mill as it included part of his fathers name and linked up with his pet name Milligan. My pet names are taken from classic British Comedy. Teeton Mill the race horse, most successful win was the Hennessy Gold Cup in 1998

That's really interesting.

I like hearing where names come from

Not forgetting Milligans uncle Lord Gyllene, pet name Fletcher

Named after a Grand National winner

Fletcher is now retired from the show ring
