I pm cmenzies with as much advice as I could give with me not being a breeder. The final decision their family made was responsible as they received good, non-judgemental advice away from this forum. They were being sensible by asking for advice-they did not tell anyone, and neither did anyone ask if their dogs were pedigree etc it was just assumed that the owners were irresponsible and thoughtless just because they were inexperienced. I worked as a Vet Nurse for 15 years and NEVER in that time was a healthy (in mind or body) dog put to sleep because it was unwanted. I notice that the breeding question posed by a Whippet owner has been met with no open posts so one must assume it is OK to slate someone wanting to breed a Cairn but not a Whippet. I am ashamed to have been part of this forum and am now asking to be taken out. :rant:Judy said:Have edited and removed some posts for inflammatory content and also made some other posts invisible because they quoted others. Please try not to fight
