As the title bar say I have got my sewing machine out today as Ian came back from town yesterday with a bargain!

It was two fleece blankets for only 1.99 each.. (oh I love closing of January sales :lol: ) and single bed sized!!!

Not needing any blankets I cut one a little smaller for a new blanket for both Sidney and Ben and also thought I would try my hand at making a doggy coat for Ben but he was less than accommodating with standing still for not only the measuring and trying on as we went along but I had to call Ian in to help take a photo :lol:

So here you go.... I think it could of been a tad bigger but I have loads of fleece left so will make another one a bit bigger :b

Totally fed up with being woken up to try it on now -_-

At least I have something to copy now so the next one will be a little longer lol

To keep Sidney happy (he loves his coat that Nicky made him) I had to put his on him as he kept trying to steal it out of my hands as I was making it :lol:

I got my sewing machine out the other day for the first time in years to make curtains for the camper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its great fun to be able to teach yourself all over again isnt it!

I got my lovely brother sewing machine for my birthday from Ian and Rob and shortly after funnily enough.. we got a 1960s camper and Ian wanted to have vintage curtains and upholstery in it..

I also do all the bits around the house too but I must say I had great fun doing the coat this afternoon, though it is far more fiddly :lol:

Put Sid or Ben in a bin bag and they'd still look stunning so I couldn't go wrong :b

I like your Cornish flag, by the way. It's very similar to our St David's flag (Welsh) which has a yellow cross on a black background instead of a white one. :thumbsup:
