Hog Roast

r u prepared to pay £8 upfront for hog roast etc?

hurray it worked this time i knew it wudnt get the better of me lol

ok @ the n.n.w.r.f straight champs, swallownest @ such short notice have already booked the club 4 the sat night. linda has been working hard organising other entertainment and has came up with a marque, hog roast, karaoke, the company supply everything the marquee, tables, chairs and even 2 chefs, they clear up afterwards too. now linda has managed to get the price down from £10 per person to £8 per person. u wud have to supply your own drink buit i cant c that being a problem lol. linda thinks kids go free. now the question is, is there 100 whippet people willing to pay £8.00 upfront for this idea? please answer the poll to give linda a rough idea of how many people want it and how many arent bothered?

my personal opinion on this is £8.00 is not a lot of money for a night out and some entertainment, if we r going to the champs then we wud deffo b prepared to pay upfront i think its a nice idea rather than doing nothing to help the new champions of the day celebrate and its something a bit different.

I suppose we could put a marquee up and do a bar-b-q ourselves as a last resort but it would be nice to have it all layed on proper, and its not just a bit of pork on a bun as Kenny put it (w00t) :clown: so if you are willing to pay the cost per adult the NNWRF will subsidise the under 16's .

Hate the thought of just having a trackside presentation for the days champions think they deserve to celebrate their achievements

if the kids are free could we make it fancey dress please carol,me n the wife and our danielles going dressed up as kids iam a bit skint. i can lend you a tape recorder for a free pork dip, sorted :thumbsup:
 
at least theres camping and the most important racing sure everyone will make the most of things whatever they do
 
the bloke where we keep our caravan bit to big caters for 1000,s,wouldnt look a a couple of 100.

if the weathers ok why not,nowt like a bit of pig :thumbsup:
 
8 quids nowt for a marquee with all the chairs and tables and food and karaoke its better than sitting in the caravan watching corrie or being being squashed like sardines in the pool room lol :D
 
I love a bit of pig me LOL (no comment required Kim LOL) I think £8 is a bargain we had a hog roast for my 21st at the golf club think we paid nearly £500 for the pig alone! So sounds to me like you got a great deal well done to the comittee!

I love the weekends away so think anything we can put on so were all together celebrating after the racing is guna be good.
 
if you want a pig think i could get one well under £100 . (£500 (w00t) ).

nowt to do with me linda, been out chaising after a pig today but it kept running between my legs,i will catch it before the end of may :thumbsup:
