Yeah I've got a van and usually go camping at whippet racing, I've never been to Norfolk or Northumberland, thanks I'll go and have a mooch on the net.

We joined the Caravan Club this year, new to it OH bought motorhome, stayed on the CL's and they have all been fab.

I called to check they have nice bathroom facilities first as I am 5 star girl... I have been pleasantly surprised

Gonna try Cornwall in July :D

I would love to join you but I work Friday mornings and I guess that would be the time you can all make it. :( Let me know if you think you might meet in the afternoon. I've had a couple of really nice walks at Lyme Park with Nicola, Fred & Stan and it would be great to meet a few more people and whippets from K9.

Gillian,

What time would you be free? It would be a shame for you to miss out.

I finish work at 12.20 - home by about 12.35, grab a sandwich and get to Lyme Park by 1.30 hopefully. But Saturday would be much better like we've done before and less people about. But don't worry if I can't make it - whatever's best for everyone else.

I stayed at Fforest fields about 3 years ago. It's a great site and doggy friendly.   We visited the Elan Valley that's nearby and the views over the resevoirs was brilliant. I'd thoroughly recommend it!
Ahh cool youve been there, lovely area isnt it :D The sectioned field for dogs etc would be great for a track dont you think

Spoke to Vicky and our mate Nicola who would also be able to make it if it was Saturday the 16th. JT, could you and your gang make it?? :luck:

Hi Chris, not too sure which field your on about? there was a dog exercise field to the left of the site (along footpath to pub) but that ground was a bit uneven when I went. There was quite a few fields that were nice and flat, I know the owner let me run mine in one so they could run full belt on some decent ground which was very nice of him. There was also a little dog field by a hedgerow but it was teaming with rabbits and I didn't want to upset any campers! :- "

I'll be OK for the Saturday too.
Looks like the Saturday then. All we need now is some fine weather, not the monsoon we had on our Longdendale walk!! (w00t)

Count me in :D That's the only weekend in June that I've not got a show so that's great. Will it be Lyme Park or Longdendale? I was talking to someone the other day who lives right near Lyme & there are lots of sheep around there at the moment. Scrumpy has already shown a keen interest in herding sheep  so dont want any repeat performances.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone & their dogs. Should be quite a pack (w00t)

Oh Bugger :( I've just double checked my calendar & we are at Tatton Park that weekend, there is a show after all. I could make it on the Friday but not Sat.

Oh well, maybe next time :(
