1st of all thank you Judy for connecting me back to K9 :thumbsup:

I would love to say a big thank you today for everyone that supported and Sponsered, and helped out at Honeyhills open today even the weatherman :thumbsup:

What a good day, there was just a small hic-up at the beginning on the straight but then all ran smoothly :thumbsup:

The Lure was done by Craig on the bend and straight and what a fantastic job he did :thumbsup: :thumbsup: thats my boy lol :wub:

There were some fantastic finishes by Rch Posh Paws and Rch Bolt from the Blue in the final which was the Main 20-22lb group :thumbsup: also a fantastic finish between Shadow :wub: and Have you Honey, in the 28-32lb group, being my boy's 1st open around the bend :thumbsup:

And I have to mention the Canteen Ladys, the Cake's were to die for and especially for piling on the pounds, :thumbsup: hopefully they will be back next year :thumbsup:

I will hopefully put the results all on tomorrow :thumbsup:

It was a lovely day, with a nice friendly relaxing atmosphere. Our dogs ran well for us, and we were thrilled for fellow Gloucs member Lesley Harris that Xplicit won his maiden group. I was also impressed by Rob and Lucy Sweet's young girlie Doolally who also won her maiden group, at what must be her first open. Greased Lightning lived up to her name also in her maiden group. Tina has already mentioned Shadow's win on the bend, well done Dylan! The Maginot Line was in fine form in the veterans winning in style today. Not only did he win today, but his points won push him from 3rd in the National Veteran league, to taking top spot! Our Sweep could only manage a 2nd today, but he was beaten by a dog 2 years younger, so we can't complain, and Sweep did beat him to win his heat earlier :teehee: The Maginot Line's performance today pushed Sweep from 2nd to 3rd, but we are thrilled with his performance this year. We have to commiserate with Sara Eaton, her boy Star of Wonder has been leading the veteran league for quite a while, only to be pipped at the post today. Well done to all the oldies who have given us so much fun this year :thumbsup:

Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to put on a great days racing. It was lovely to see dogs bend racing for the first time this year, I'd forgotten just how wonderful it is to watch the dogs stretching out and overtaking. (I normally see them from the catching end).
