Dreadful news Gordon, got everything crossed Honey makes a full

recovery. When Zena broke her leg the vet bill was horrendous

over £3,000, and I will never dare race her again, I cant thank Colin

(my other half) enough for paying most of it - but as he said watching

her running on the beach/fields was worth every penny.

It does make me bloody angry that most pet insurance companies

will not insure racing dogs, although this was the first time in 30 plus

years racing I have ever had this happen so they would have def been in profit

Sorry Gordon, rotten luck! Don't loose hope, we're the proud owners of a 15yr old NCH Hobgoblin who also broke her leg yet came back to racing and I can think of many more that's done the same. Hope all goes well for her :luck:
