2 minutes to retrieve as many items as possible, will include dummies, balls, soft toys etc Each item will have a points value, highest score wins so even the slower dogs have a chance to win.

:) Cant recommend this event highly enough ....................... I went last year and was impressed with the organisation and extremely friendly atmosphere. I didnt see the coursing, but the straight racing had a really good, long track and the showing was all in good sized rings. And the prizes .........well, lets just say I have yet to see better ....they were tremendous  We had had some serious rain prior to this last year and even that didnt mar the day.

Good luck to Maggi, Bill and team and I hope you raise a huge amount of money for your chosen charities

It sounds great Maggi - so sorry I wimped out on account of the weather last year :b

It's on the calandar now - see you soon xx

that all looks so good. too far away though, hope you have a fabulous day and i look forward to all the pics

Maggi - Dad & I are definately going to make the journey up from Plymouth, with Goran & Rebus, sounds a great day of events & from the feedback I heard from last year, should be a great day...Looking forward to it.....

Just to inform anyone who is wanting to camp on the saturday night. There is a pub around 1/2 mile down the round from the show field. Mum has spoken to the landlady and said it will be at a cost of £3 per person. Please email me by the saturday before the show so that I can inform the pub

Tom

Thanks all for the comments re last years show

Unfortunately no coursing this year as the lower part of the field has been used for crops :( this is why we've added an extra racing category & the other field events so that people can hopefully have a go at something else.

The only request is for a bit less mud than last year

The racing distance is 180-200 yards,

This is one event that shouldnt go a miss...myself and my 6 year old son went last year...and he had a great time doing the fun showing, even though Bow isnt no show whippet..both got three thirds and a cuddly toy

the weather was awful to start with, and god wasnt it muddy...but it tuned out quite sunny in the afternoon

Its a shame theres no coursing , Bow won it last year ,and yes weve got one of those lovely rossettes and a trophy

Not sure if we can make it though but will try to get there

We're looking forward to Sunday!!! Me, Rowan and Willow that is cos G has to work
