Our council organised a day to identify 'unpicked up poo' with miniature flags at the side of each pile.Very patriotic :x

Rule Britannia eh? :clown:

Imagine what any foreign visitors would think, in france you have the eiffel tower, in china the great wall (whats left of it), go to the uk you've got mount turd the 3rd next to jobbie tower etc. Welcome to britain, it's dead nice here.

Using my voice of authority here!!!!!!!

I hope you all do scoop the poop as it were!!!In my new post of Dog Warden in the Allerdale Council region i WILL NOT let anyone get away with it

A bit like Bruce Almighty i will walk the streets singing 'Ive got the power!!' and slap a £75 fine.

A few months ago this story made the north east news An old woman was out walking her dog when she was mugged by a young lad. He grabbed the black velvet bag that she was carrying & cycled off. Imagine the look on his face when the bag was full of bags of dog crap  (w00t) Luckily the woman wasn't hurt
LOVE it!!!!

good on ya!!!!!

theres nothing worse than going out for a lovely walk with your dog and stepping in someones elses dog poo, makes my blood boil.

i was in the park the other day only to see a dog owner trying desperatly to ignore the fact his dog was having a dump........i went over to him and smiled sweetly and handed him a poo bag!!!!

Who remembers Barbara Woodhouse (Walkies!!!). She used to carry a handbag (proper ladies old fashioned leather with clasp type) and when she had scooped the poo with her plastic bag, into the handbag it went. :- "

The handbag idea didn't really catch on, and I suppose men wouldn't be too keen either!!

I have no probs what-so-ever cleaning up after my own dogs but it absolutely repulses me having to clean up after someone elses dog. :x

Is this just me?

Im terrible for collaring people in the street for leaving deposits behind, a bit daft really as behind me is a really rough estate but hey ho!!! I saw a Dog Warden post advertised and thought 'Whoa i can actually get paid for harrasing these people!!!

A friend of mine (moved last year) used to pick up any dog poo she found weather it was from her dog or not. BUT she used to let her kids poo in the hedge. Didnt make much sence.

Why would you want to pick up dog poo its organic and helps feed the worms :- "

I use Tesco value nappy bags with a little blue scoopy thing - I really don't like the warm squishy feeling!! :x The blue scoopy thing works really well.

I also hand out bags to people who fail to scoop. I have been known to shout out of my car window as well!
