me ive been racing 15 years.

Racing 46 years and 21 years of age x 2 + 4 :clown:
 
My first memory of racing, i was 5, there's no doubt i was at the track with my grandad before that, but i can't really count it if i can't remember it, so 23yrs.
 
My first memory in whippet racing is being really small walking up the track with my Grandad and his hands being massive so i must have been small lol when i think it would have been Country Lady running so how old was i mum???
 
Over 40 years, l started whippet racing in Newmarket as a little girl when l was given a whippet. :)

mines same as sadies, Grandads hand used to seem like he was holding from your palm to your elbow, i remember feeling so big walking with him holding the lead.

my first memory is going to kirkcaldy in our lol and andys little peugeot car 4 adults the kids and dogs and all out stuff lol in a single skin 2 man tent i woke up soaking wet off the condensation i thought id peed the bed lol

we've been going about 13 years or so

We've been racing dogs for about 13 years, at Horden club first & if you were lucky enough to win it was £20 or £25 winnings!

Think you'd be about 3 Sadie cos we didnt have Lady until she was already running, about 2 yrs old i think when we got her, i think she got title for us in 1989 ????? but not 100 per cent sure would have to go round to Nans and check trophies or ask Nan she probably has a better memory than me :eek:

1989 it was, 18lb bitch straight champion. :)
 
Only been racing 3 years, feels like 30 sometimes :p God, thats why I feel like a complete novice ( no sarky comments please lol) compared to some old timers !!!

i got my first whippet as an xmas present in 1983 didnt know she was a racing whippet she was bred out of chatterbox x ocean swell i called her penny her raceing name was moon dancer i didnt even know you could race them until one day i had her out for a walk and she ran off with a puppy along the field at the green drive in dawdon as me and the other owner were chasing our pups he asked me where id bought her from and to my amazment they were litter brother and sister and he told me this is where we train them and when i turned up on a sunday morning id never seen so many whippets together in all my life they were special times for me i used to drag myself up there on a sunday morning with the worst hangovers ever but when i got home i was completely fine i know we all started drinking young in them days and now :thumbsup:
 
i have been racing for 17 long years now, yer thats my age lol :lol: i have been coming since i was born

i dont know what my first memory is but i use to love going to old hall when the breakfasts were on and we use to waittill the gymnastics things were set out n go n play on them, we use t always get wrong but then they just ended up leaving us coz we didnt take any notice :lol: :lol: we use to also get wrong for bouncing power balls around the hall :eek: :clown: still have fun now ;) that maz cracks me up thort id peed the bed :lol:
