yes i often wonder how the poor people who have to deal with these cruelty cases manage to bear up. i read in tonights local paper that the emergency services, police etc who were the first ones to attend on the little girl who was killed by her uncles pit bull a few weeks ago are all in need of counselling and are all traumatised by what they saw.i wanted to work for the rspca years ago but i knew i couldnt ever get used to seeing what some of those inspectors saw.it was bad enough when i attended comittee meetings and we were given photos and leaflets with horror pics in them of mainly dogs that had been horrifically abused before death brought a welcome release from their pain.ive been slated on here for saying that this sort of thing OUGHT to be brought to the general publics attention and we as dog lovers especially ought to know about it.and i still stand by that.knowledge is power.ignorance is bliss.we cant keep turning a blind eye to cruelty.if i stand by and say nothing that makes me as bad as the perpetrator
