I've now seen two k9 lurchers that look exactly our Leia - and here was me thinking she was the only one :huggles: :b

When we first got her......she used to be so well behaved......... (w00t)

She is beautiful.  Nothing like her here though!

She's lovely Rae ..........Look's like a Collie thing going on in her 2nd photo ......Prehap's you can teach her to herd lol (w00t)

She's a beauty that's for sure.

Reminds me of a friends saluki x. Who also does noble rather well.

Funnily enough I do think she's got some Collie tendancies (w00t)

However she is more Saluki than anything...if you know what I mean ... (w00t) :- "

Still got 5 weeks to go until she can exercise and she's driving me bonkers. Starts hydrotherapy this week.

It's a nightmare when they arn't allowed to run for such a long time, isn't it :( ........The hydrotherapy will help her out no end....... :luck: I hope it all goe's well, and :huggles: to Leia

Yes it's a nightmare Hannah - especially as we've got SNOW now! :D Star is going bonkers (w00t) and poor Leia is on a short lead for a 5 min walk twice a day :(

She's limping today for the first time (it's 4 weeks on Friday since she was fixed) - I strongly suspect that OH let her in the garden alone first thing this morning and she's been running and playing in the snow - but he won't own up to it.....

We've been clicker training like mad the last few weeks to try and keep her entertained but I've now rang out of ideas that don't involve legs

She's normally very good at skateboarding but we've obviously given that a miss recently!

Hmmm it's difficult, ......We had Joanna laid up for around 3 month's .......We found that food ball's helped with a bit of mental/physical activity, but when she needed rest then a kong stuffed full with peanut butter, biccie's, tripe and other goodie's (which was given to her frozen as it took a longer time to empty), worked wonder's and kept her occupied in her "cage rest" for age's  ........BTW OH's are a pain in one's bum when it come's to simple thing's like ......DON'T LET HER RUN !!!! :- " .....To us this is self explanatory, to a man this make's no sense at all as it uses long words like don't and run lol (w00t)

LOL!

Yes - my own fault for trusting him to be able to feed them without incident I suppose.... :- "

Good idea to freeze the kong - will do that for tomorrow. She was a total couch potato yesterday and she was actually watching the TV!
