Are you mad?? lol I can asure you 2 pups of the same age are extreamly hard work :sweating:
Oh there's a lot of folks who'll probably agree about my sanity...or the lack of it at times  Years ago our family had two jack russell pups from the same litter and they were great :) Not a bit of bother at all......I don't know if that was just because we'd always had dogs in our family and, from the age of 13, I'd been doing obedience with my crossbreed so just instinctively knew what to do and the terriers didn't become hooligans....or perhaps we were just lucky ;)

Either way I AM going into this with my eyes wide open and actually looking forward to it :D I never thought I could persuade Neil to let me have another whippet after losing Tina & Diva (he wanted a collie!!!) so I'm just SO excited (w00t) .

If the worst happens then at least you guys will be entertained by tales of what our little yobbos get up to and I will go grey overnight

Good Luck with your pups Foxglove :luck: . Gracie is 7 months and I must admit, I don't know if I could have coped

with two! Lots of pics when they arrive.

Foxglove, I got two litter mates in November last year and will say that although it can be hard work it was nothing compared to what my Mum is going through with just one pup!! I found having my two is easier than her single pup. I can't say there were really any issues that we wouldn't have had with one dog, and I also think in some respects it was easier - they got housetraining really quickly because they heard 'toilet outside' so many times, and are less likely to wander off when exercising off lead as they have each other to concentrate on.

The only downside is twice as much poo and insurance! Oh, and they are so evenly matched that they just couldn't work out who was top dog (a few very real fights) so we got them neutered two months ago and they are back to being lovely again.

Good luck, and good decision - you'd have only got another one further down the line anyway! :)

they might be due today by the looks of it Foxglove 8)

I'm the breeder - should I duck now? mum is my very well bred pet, dad is also very well bred too, we've already got VERY good lifelong homes for them so please don't leap on us with like the one below about breeding, in fact there's that many homes at this rate there won't be the one we wanted to keep left....

said all along, would rather give them to loving lifelong homes than sell them to homes that'll get rid in 6 months, and if they return in the future we're more than prepared for that too, we've got a big garden and tonnes of fields to roam around in should the worst happen, but we do know the homes offered are life! 8)

Oooooh you can't have them back  I've already bonded with my wee munchkins and they ain't even out yet :D

Got the ol' butterflies whizzing around in my tummy tho' :b It's going to be a loooong 24-48 hours

...and good decision - you'd have only got another one further down the line anyway! :)
That's so true :- I think Neil KNEW that a single dog was never really going to be an option so he's giving in now rather than try to argue about it all  He's starting to try to think of names now!!! (w00t)
