I hope the GP can help @Rona
The only experience I have is when I was pregnant, smells were more powerful and smells I previously enjoyed turned my stomach. Before I knew I was pregnant, I got up one morning and threw out 2 pots of coffee thinking there was something wrong with either the coffee, the coffee maker, the water... Finally OH got up and asked me what I was doing, coffee smelled fine to him. I love my coffee and for my entire pregnancy I had to give it up. 12 hours after giving birth, I smelled coffee and it smelled as lovely as always and I enjoyed a cup no issues.
I had that with so many things, I can imagine how frustrating it must be not knowing what's causing it, and how to fix it.
