I had a very interesting walk with the A Team a little while ago.
I was stopped on a one way road by a car with a couple of blokes
in it, the one who spoke to me was Irish, he asked if i would sell
one of my whippets, i said no, he said he wanted one and then
asked how old the big one was. I said no again and he then turned
the car around and asked one more time before he drove off.
What is it with whippets i have been approached twice now about
Alba and once for Kaya
When we got to the beach we walked up the top to start with, and
could suddenly hear a drum or something and some chanting or
singing. As we walked along i could see over a small wall onto
the old caravan park and sitting in a circle were about 12 men
they were Indian and half had turbans on and the other's were
bare headed. And two were banging these drums while the other's
chanted............of course the dogs were straight up there running
round them. I called them back and some of the men smiled and
waved..........well weird
The next thing i know the two big GSD that love the girls came
belting up the dunes i put Al straight onto his lead, he barked
but not as badly as he does sometimes.......i have been working
on him.
These two GSD aren't the friendliest dogs in the world but they have
taken a shine to my girls, anyway their owners said that they didn't
think Alba was barking aggressively and said to let him off. I did and
he was as good as gold, still done the barking but no-one paid any
attention to him, they all ended up having a good run. Kaya
managed to cut her leg in two places, i've just cleaned it and it
doesn't seem anything major.
Then as we were leaving the beach, i thought the two gulls on
the beach looked odd and as we got closer i saw why, they were
ducks, just sitting in the middle of the beach
All in all a very interesting walk :*
