Hello all, am just out a boring H and S meeting so thought I would drop you all a quick line. :- "

Brought this boy home on Thursday night, he needed a home fast as the lady is moving to a flat with no garden  . I was worried about who he would go to so thought that I would take him on and see how he went with Pimms and in my life etc. He is a much bigger boy, sorry the photos are a bit rubbish, doh. I will get some better ones on later on.

She previously showed him and he did well (she said he had qual for crufts so think this is fairly good....!). But he was too nervous of judges and backed off when shown so kept loosing marks. Poor boy :( .

Needless to say his arrival promted Pimms to start her first seeason  , but he is booked in to get the snip tomorrow so we should be ok! Im keeping them apart to make sure nothing 'untoward' happens...... :b ! Dont really have the time/space for whip babies and Pimmie is only 8 months so too young anyways. Not that that is stopping her, she is parading round like a wee harlot :b !

Hopefully he will settle in ok, I would have preferred a smaller bitch just as my flat is only a 2 bed, but worried about where he would end up.

You can prob see from the pics but he is white and blue fawn which is really unusual. His patches look a bit like someone has done them in watercolour  .

I also forgot to mention further to my whips and horses post the other week. Poor Pimmie was kicked last Friday night :( . A horrible horse (who silly owner was feeding in the yard!) kicked out at her as she trotted past. She was sent flying and knocked out poor girl :( . I had an emergency trip to the vets with her for staples in her head, she was very shocked poor thing. Needless to say she is fine now and seems to have learned from it.

So now I have 2 whips........! One going to the vet tomorrow to loose her staples and one to loose somthing rather more important...... :b !

He's a handsome boy...lucky you

He is a real stunner.

Don't forget, he could be fertile for a few months after his snip - don't be lulled into a false sense of security!!!

He is sooo handsome. :huggles:

He is a stunning young whippet and he does have very unusual colourings.

A beauty!!!! Hope poor Pimms recovers soon.

Have pm'd you

very handsome

:luck: for tomorrow

He's a beauty. I bet you have your hands full now between him and now Pimms in season!!

Poor Pimms getting a kick. At least all is well with her. Hopefully she'll learn from that lesson!!

Good luck with your new lad settling in and hope it goes well tomorrow. :luck:

What a beautiful fellow he is.  Hope he and Pimms get on well together and can look forward to a happy future. Well done you for taking him on. Good luck for his op and Pimms' staple removal tomorrow'. :luck: :luck:

What a handsome lad he is  ,Pimms very obviously thinks so too as he made her come "in" :p

I hope the kick has'nt made her scared of horses  ,kinda defeats your purpose as you want her to have respect for them, but not be too afraid to hack out alongside you.

All the best for the op tomorrow with Cass and Pimms removal of the staples.

I hope you spoke to the horses' owner?
