Now the bend season's finished,would be nice to present the Myers family and staff with something from us whippet racers for going out of their way to make us welcome and for looking after us through the bends season.Anybody got any ideas?

good idea mate, i must have come up with that one lol, :- not sure what we could give them maybe a whippet ornament they can keep in the bar or a plaque that could say something about the 40th anniversary of the bwra bend champs and what a good job highgate have done

What about a trophy of some sort to be presented to the Myers family from the whippet racers for the most popular whippet bends venue and possibly flowers for the ladies who do the bar and the food.

We will be going to Wendy's soon, I know she has some very large whippet/greyhound ornaments that may be suitable, let me know, we could have a whip round from the whippet racers. Will see you at Old Hall Sunday.
