Hi Everyone, I am new to this forum and just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Liza and I live in rural Cumbria with my husband, we share our home with our Italian Greyhounds, Whippets and Jack Russell. I look forward to talking to you all.

Thank you everyone for all your messages! I was just getting in to read topics and my neighbour popped in, for three hours..! Couldn't wait for her to go so I could get back online!

Jackie, lovely to get your pm, so pleased that Romeo is all loved up..! Marco is going to take some pictures for you of the rest of our IG's but is working in Whitehaven until Thursday so will send as soon as he is back.

You all have such gorgeous dogs, I have to learn how to post pictures, I'm afraid my OH is more technical than me, God I hate to admit that.!

Hello, it's me, I'm here, struggled a bit to find my way, this is just logging in..lol..

Thank you so much everyone for all your replies, what a friendly forum!

This is the first doggie forum I've posted on and there seem to be lots of Whippets, is this just a coincidence or is it mainly a Whippet site? Please excuse my igonorance but like I said, have never posted on another dog forum.

I'm in Whippet heaven here!

Carla, where abouts in Cumbria did you get your Poppy? And Cheryl whereabouts are you in Cumbria? I'm in a small village in South Cumbria, just outside of Ulverston.

Poppy came from Barrow-in-Furness. Absolutely beautiful coastal road on the way there, just stunning.

I want to take Poppy back there when she is older!

I would love to live in the countryside, maybe one day!

If you love whippets you are in the right place, loads of great pics on here of gorgeous dogs all the time.

I come from Barrow-in-Furness ! I now live about 8 mile away! Who bred your girl? I may know them. Yes, there are lots of nice walks along the beach, there are drawbacks like any place but basically ok.

I can feel myself already getting addicted to this site!!
