Thank you Vanna, I seem to remember putting up one of your FAWN whippets at a match as well, didn't I??? LOL

I'd forgotten about that! You've put up Gladly and his daughter - both fawns! (w00t)

And I think Dessie put up Billy's sire old Joe :pirate: , a scarred solid black, somewhere along the line too. Another pet peeve by the way... superficial scars (however ugly) shouldn't matter in the ring! A Whippet is a working breed - or it should be... IMO :ermm:

70 whippets were getting on a bus. Every thing was fine untill all wanted to sit up the front. They made so much noise about it, that the that the driver would not drive off.

So to keep the peace, the driver had to sort out the problem. :(

So, the driver said, " all you blues, blacks, & FAWNS, get to the back of the bus, & all you pretty brindles& parties, can sit down the front."

Sounds fair to me. :- "

No, I would put the blacks and blues at the front with the brindles and the partis with the fawns at the back!!!

Why dont we just put them on 2 busses?

No need to put them on two buses 'cause the fawns would be driving the bus.

Caroline I'll do that too!!!!

Well Id let them all sit where they wanted to too ,

BECAUSE ALL COLOURS ARE EQUAL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stopping jocking now yes Jax is right!

:clown: especially because if you take 25 whippets in a bus and ask one after the other to sit at a special place most would do what they want, no matter if it's a black, fawn or brindle whippet!!!! Because....

ALL COLOURS ARE EQUAL!!!

Sorry Jax, I couldn't help it :clown:

Err Whites not allowed on the bus or are they in a taxi with the half faces and Whippets with brindle bodies and one white leg!!!

True - all colours are equal - but some are more equal than others... o:)

I'd hire a limousine for the black & blue and let the rest sort out the bus seating themselves. :b

These can catch the train.......Roof seating only. :- "

All this talk about X & Y.

The real answer, is that it is the pups fault if they are FAWN. They just picked the wrong parents. :b

Yes, but, I have a beautiful soft fawn/white trim bitch (oldie now) from two quite heavily marked brindles that come from a long line of brindles so its a bit of a no win situation.

But I would rather have a fawn than a black.
LOL ,because you're a twit,or a twerp ?

As for the bus, well the blacks and blues wouldn't lower themselves to argue about it.They'd just jump into Malin's limo :D

Whippies don't do buses........or at least,mine don't.

This bus thing reminds me of something that Sammy Davis Jn said once.

He said he got on a bus in NY and the driver said, 'whites in front, blacks at the back'. 'Im Jewish' Sammy said.

B****y well get off then, the driver said.

LOL, erm, if I got my whippies on a bus, that is exactly what some of mine would say to other breeds of dog :D .
