This would have been Kim's birthday and I wish to share a photo with you all.

kim3.jpg

Kim: 20 July 1986 - 11 Dec 1996

She was my most special dog - I think you'll all understand.

(Whenever I see meerkats on the TV, they remind me of her)

(Is there a Rainbow Bridge Gallery for our "old" friends?)

my god, you can almost touch her from that photo. i cry so much, everytime.

such a beauty. sleep tight little one xx

What a beautiful little girl

These threads always make me cry :b

Looking at her photo brings tears to my eyes, what an absolutely stunning head. I bet the rest of her was as beautiful. She was obviously so special to you. Thankyou for sharing her photo with us. She was only 10, how sad.

That is a beautiful photo of Kim, she does look as if she's actually there for you to reach out and stroke. Beautiful. You must miss her so much.

Thank you for your kind words - I do love a good cry every now and then!

Both our previous dogs are still with us every day in thought. We're forever saying "Gem would have done so-and-so" or "Kim would have been such-and-such". Even Shadow seems to recognise their names and looks as if he's thinking "not those 2 again"!

As it's almost the anniversary of Gem being PTS, I'll put another photo on this thread and get it over with now

Gem: 14 June 1983 - 26 July 1996

Kim: 20 July 1986 - 11 Dec 1996

As you can imagine, we had our own "annus horribilis" in 1996.

Its a real pleasure to see your photos - thanks for sharing your lovely dogs with us.

What a beautiful face she had   such a sweet little expression - I lost my dog last year - he looked very similar to your dogs.

What was your dogs breeding???

What a sweet dog Kim was, As long as you have her in your memories, she will live with you forever

I don't know how I missed this thread.

I understand only too well Sally. I lost my blue boy, Lester, at only 10 with idiopathic cardiomyopathy. It was 3 years ago at the beginning of January but it still seems like yesterday. He was such a character, what is it about blues???

Lovely photos Sally, it is so sad to see them go. Chin up, I bet they had a super life with you.

lovely pictures

I bet they made it hell for your local wildlife, they look like they could catch a crumb before it hits the floor!
