well, ive just come off the fone to the rescue center from where we got buster to see if they could have him for four days boarding and their answer? no because we believe he might be dangerous!! I have never heard something so absurd in all my life. he hates other dogs, yes but has never once given me any cause for concern. Plus they cant have been that worried otherwise surely he would have been pts rather than rehomed to a family who live in a village full of children?? im so mad im shaking. Also what happens when they get a real vicious dog in for rescue will they be able to cope? i hardly think

I can see you feel very strongly about this, rach125, did they say anything about buster being "dangerous" when you got him from them? Just wondered why they would say such a thing.

Plus, if they did have him back to board him for 4 days or so, surely he'd be by himself? When you take your dog to boarding kennels they don't run dogs together, they're kept separate.

Seems a bit of an odd response to me unless I've missed something?

the only thing they said was watch him around other dogs, and youve got yourself a smashing dog there. The only reason i can think that they think hes dangerous is because we took him back there for training and the woman said that he wants to protect me, but she meant when other dogs come near he used to move around my legs as if to say try it. if that makes sense?

I can see why your pee'd off rach................fancy that rescue rehoming a dangerous dog to you :- " :- "

personally rach, i would tell them bog off and find a nice kennel to put buster in

cant see how he would be treated well while being with them if they think he's dangerous

good luck :luck:

Your right hely. We have found a lady who does offers dog walking and so buster will be staying in his own home and getting a walk in the afternoon, which is really better for him. I am staying at home but will be working for 8hours a day. So this way it is better all round i will just have to give him a bit of a longer walk in the morning and a good run in the evenings to tire him out a bit!
