Just like to add , that on Sat there was Lady there who was obviously a novice . so after judging i ask if i could give her a few tips ( eg how to stand her dog , hold the lead etc , Anyhow , to cut a long story short :- " this lady was so grateful for any advice, I received in the post today, a lovely thankyou note and small gift . Not necessary of course., If we cant help new comers to showing then we are forgetting that once WE were newcomers too ;)

Well done Jax, its hard to know if someone does want help.

Mary Crocker (Crysbel) helped me at my first show 26 years ago and if it wasnt for her I may be laying on a beach in Antigua now, sipping cocktails and having a fantastic time with all the money I would have had if she hadnt got me hooked on showing  :D :D :D

Bless her, she was a fantastic person.

I know what you mean Karen, I didnt want to appear to be a know all :- " or busy body o:) , but the lady toook my comments well and was obviously over joyed that some one was willing to help her , From what she told me the peps at her ringcraft have given her some odd ideas . Like overtaking on the INSIDE (w00t) and such like ,

I remember many years ago, i was given the advice to `pet `home Simon as they could sell me a better quality pup. Needless to say I replied Simon was ALREADY in a pet home . :huggles: He did me proud for a first dog winning a RCC and qualifiy for Crufts at OUR first Championship show . Beating the kennel who `condemed` him is STILL all the sweeter ;)

That piccy was takne by a professional , and had Proof written across it  , plus it was only about 2" x 2" , so I dont think I did too bad editing it do you :- "

I think she does look a tad short in it too , which she isnt ;)
