her bone broke through the skin and caused an infection so she had to go back in and have it pinned. they said it was the hardest point to mend but shes now made a full recovery. shes got a slight limp after exercise now, but shes still a looney!!Infact the other day she jumped barbed wire in a field and was back in to be stitched up. acidents happen its how we deal with them that matter.

I dont know how beneficial it is but we was reccomended to use lactol puppy milk to help thecalcium build up, just a thought. hope she gets better real soon

I nearly cried when i first saw her like this :'(

the way our dogs run about, it's a wonder they don't get hurt more often (they are tougher than they look)

best wishes for a good recovery

Poor Honey, such a unfortunate accident, hopefully she will be ok

Hi Lynn, Paris has a poultice on for the second time, she keeps it on for a week, we think she has a fragment of glass embedded in her paw, she back to the vets next week for a x-ray

Poor wee honey, hope she makes a speedy recovery.

:( Jim was out on Sunday night with Moucher and Honey our wheaten x whippet got injured. They rushed her to the vet and after xrays,it was discovered she has broken most of the bones in her lower back leg and her paw.

We got her home last night and despite her injury she is in good form.

It's going to take 4wks before we'll know if it's going to heal properly so fingers crossed :luck:

 Hi all, We got good news tonight Honey's leg is healing really well.

The vet said that the bones are starting to fuse together and the external wound is healing and there is no infection.

She has to go back in 3 wks and have the dressings changed so we're really pleased (w00t) .

Thank you to everyone for the kind words and advice we really appreciated it

happy days, good news, and the pups are looking lovely, especially the one with the stripe, haha (w00t) God bless, see you soon
