I feed my dog the same things as masta  the shinny coat i have found can come from extra fat, I add Olive oil  for the fat but if you add more fat they need more vitamin E (peanut butter).

if you balance the diet you shouldnt have to supplement with vitamins. Ive read that dogs can properly digest partialy digested veg (tripe)

www.rawdogranch.com

if veg is pulped it makes it easier for the dog to digest because the act of pulping is doing what the dogs unsacculated colon cannot do so basically artificially contructing an ingredient for your dogs diet why?? if your hell bent on feeding veg take a pan of cabbage boil it eat the cabbage yourself and feed the water the dog is getting the percieved "goodness" without a belly full of undigestable veg.

The key supplement needed when feeding raw is a good quality seaweed powder
