Well, here he is, Archer, the newest inmate of the asylum!

Huge thanks to Billy Harpur for breeding such a gorgous boy and for sending him to me in such brilliant condition and thanks too, to JOHN, without whose intervention, this wouldnt have been possible

I was rather dubious at the state the pup would be in when I collected him after what must have been such a traumatic time for the wee boy. He had had a hideous ferry trip to endure , followed by endless hours on the motorway and then was stuffed into a strange car with a mad woman who kept wanting to snuffle on his belly

He then was brought into a house with four dogs and after just three hours, seems to have made himself at home. The older dogs have all played with him, but have also all told him off, which will do Archer the world of good as he seems to know no fear. Prepare yourselves for more pictures along the way.

Thanks again to my Irish chums

 Thanks to everyone for all the lovely comments about Archer, who is divine  . He cried very loudly last night for about 40 minutes when I put him to bed, but then slept until 4.30. He had another yelling session but went back to sleep until 8ish, so I was very pleased. He has spent the day 'helping' me clear the garden ............ bringing me cushions out there, and shoes and things and now is enjoying his first ever rawhide chew. The others finished theirs hours ago and are all lying, watching him suck his, with eagle eyes

Well, heres Archer, who is now just over 12 weeks old and getting more naughty by the day :- " He has developed a perfect ' it wasnt ME look' and then backs that up with ' so what if it was, YOU cant catch me anyway' .

Today was his second day out in the big wide world and we took him to a local rugby pitch, where he realised he had legs. As you can see, he used up some energy, so for once, I am having a peaceful evening!!
