I am posting on behalf of the Irish Terrier Association Rescue.

Although Irish Terriers are a comparatively uncommon breed, there are still several (too many) dogs every year that need new homes. Often, this is due to changes in personal circumstances or ignorance or misunderstanding on the owners' part of the breed's nature and requirements than through any fault with the dogs themselves.

We would love to have a list of really good potential homes waiting, full of people who have done their research and understand that Irish are large, racy terriers, capable of selective hearing and high speed, who need to be mentally stimulated and well-exercised. All rescue-dogs will be neutered.

If anyone out there is interetsed in knowing more, please PM me. All rescues are subject to a home-check.

Thanks :luck:
