Is my dogs neuter scar infected ? im worried

Hello i had my dog neutered on monday, and ive just noticed this strange red rash has appeared around the penis area, im a bit of a worrier anyway but i was just wondering if anyone knew if this was normal or am i just being over causious ?

If it wasnt there before then youve paid ur money so get back to vet and tell them to stick it where the sun down shine id they want more money , the vets normally do a follow up check so if yiur worried pop in and see them.. Best of luck.

looks like clipper rash to me, its a sensitive area and this often happens after a few days, pop back to your vet and get one of the nurses to have a quick look just to put your mind at rest, you could try bathing the area with cool salty water aswell

I agree with Murphyrules but if you are worried pop back to the vet or ring them it is perfectly reasonable to address any concerns of yours.

It looks like quite mild bruising that is visible due to no hair in the area...........not to be totally unexpected after surgery. Ask your vet if you are concerned.
