We were out in a field with lots of molehills yesterday. He was sniffing around them for ages before a frenzy of barking, leaping and digging started. Recall failed and even the whistle (which always gets a liver treat); nothing has ever set him off like that.

I'm just wondering if there are other dogs just like my dogs. :D

One of my Shihtzus doesn't like taking a bath and it's really a mess whenever I give her a bath!! So then I have to take a bath after because I get all wet too. She also hates drying her hair with a blower!!

My GR doesn't like getting sprayed by the perfume or anything that resembles the spraying sound. She gets all crazy and barks at it. (There are organic perfumes for dogs, I don't use human perfume)

How about your dogs? Are they the same as mine?

When I bought an eight week old Newfoundland puppy, the breeder mentioned that he didn't like the blaster. These are wonderful for the thick layers of fur on a Newfie, of which I already had one, so I bought one. I only opened the box and the puppy ran and hid in the cupboard. I never could use it on him. He got to a point where he would come to the back door and peer out when I was using the blaster on the other dog, but that was as close as he got.

Every dog I've ever had has hated bath time. They go really rigid and peculiar. Yet they would be happy running in the sea and in rivers. Dogs are irrational!!

My little chi doesnt like the wind or when people cough.

Smudge loves to listen to music, lol. his favroute is Black Metal and The light house family haha

My staffy x Pug hates and is scared of noises ,My son watches train videos on you tube and she cowers at the noises the trains make, She hates any vehicle that beeps bin wagon or van reversing .I got an halogen cooker I had to give it away because the sound of it used to terrify her and she d shake and tremble even after it had been turned off. I've just got a new Microwave now my old one used to beep when pressing the buttons or the time was up but as with the halogen cooker she trembles and hides .Like most Dogs fireworks she is a quivering wreck. Staffys are supposed to be tough fearless dogs not her she s a right wuss.

Folly is ten years old, in her life I have set a smoke alarm off twice. But whenever I cook something she gets a bit worried and if it's not raining she takes herself out to the garden, (getting wet is obviously worse though as if it is raining she stays inside). So I am guessing she will never get over it.
