I noticed a growth on my dogs pad / toe alongside her claw. Is this a wart?

The day after I noticed the wound I found the area to be bleeding. I have cleaned the area with saline water and have applied anti bacterial powder and covered the wound with a sock until we can see the vet.

Is there anything further I should be doing?

Have a read of this as it is quite informative. I'd say basic cleaning and keeping area dry and covered, as you have, sounds perfect, until a vet sees her. But definitely do get the vet to have a look...

Either way, keeping it clean and dry is a good idea.

I think you are doing exactly the right thing with the bathing and anti bacterial powder.
It sounds like the sort of thing I would do.

It's most likely an interdigital cyst - yes, definitely a vet job. Good luck. She's a beauty!
