He looks like he just needs a good bath and groom through hey?

OMG that's an actual FLEECE you have taken off! I bet he feels much better now that's gone, poor fella.

I bet he has a whole new lease of life now!

Great series of pictures, I hope you showed them to his owners!

OMG, that poor dog. He will feel miles better now. Are you entering the hand shearing competition this year? Just need a sheep!!

I sheared my white longhaired GSD last year - with sheep shears (w00t) - great tramlines :-

I've waited a whole year for her coat to grow back and moult properly again which it now has, so she's back to her former glory

I never expected to see the coat come off in a pelt like that. Wow...what a transformation. :teehee: I should do the same with my mini but I like his wiry coat too much and it wouldn't grow back the same.

Wow! I bet he feels better now. How old is that dog and how long do you think since his coat was last brushed? I must admit I would never choose to have a breed that would require much grooming.

Oh my good grief (w00t) That looks as if he'd never been brushed in his life. He must be so much comfier now. How did his owners take it ?!

That poor dog, he must have been so uncomfortable with his undercoat matted like that. I bet he's loads happier now

Oh heck...I didn't realise his undercoat was so matted...not by looking at the first picture, but that would explain it coming off like that. :nuke:
