Just reading my Horse n Hound mag,

and yet another crazy incident!!

About 1 month ago, a man saw a mouse run under his fridge so he pulled the fridge out and let his 2 x terrier get it (he wasnt a hunting man, the dogs were just pets)

The neighbour heard the comotion and reported him to the police. He was summonsed to court for illegal hunting with dogs!! Luckily the judge threw this out.

In todays mag,

a Bloke has had his terrier and lurcher taken off him, fined £5000 cost and £750 fine. for his dogs getting a fox. The prosecution was brought by the RSPCA.

Also another case has been adjouned for illegally hunting for wild mammals (setting terriers into rats!).

Just thought id let you know.

theres a report in our local paper today about a man getting prosecuted for hunting with dogs.hes also getting prosecuted for dealing and having possession of cocaine and other drugs.

Rats are exempt under the hunting act , so setting terriers onto rats is perfectly legal

Although excempt from the hunting act I think you'll find Rats are still Mammals

click on the link for the definition of a Mammal ~ MAMMALS

My dogs kill owt that moves with a furry coat on and so does my cat. (w00t)

If i had mice in my house i'd want the buggars dead no matter what. The last time i saw a rat run near me i hit it with a spade.I hasten to add it's a late rat now. :- " Does this mean i am in trouble or am i doing the community a service?

Some of these do gooders should stay in their homes and mind their own business and let the rest of us get on with ours. The alternative is catch mice and rats alive and deliver them to your nearest RSPCA home.

oh well just sit back and wait for the plague! makes me so angry when you see what could happen! already innner cities and towns are rat infested due to council changing policies on bin collections!!!

hi sue, i feel the same as you regarding rats.. kill as many as you can when you can with whatever means you have.

The RSPCA are interfering tw@#s who should stick to their original remit of looking after strays. Otherwise they should fuc# off and leave the countryside alone.

How sweet the irony, as at the top of my page is an advert for them, well done k9 for your usual double standards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RSPCA gas their dogs anyway. I wont give them a single penny!

Next they will be hauling in cat owners for illegal hunting with felines.

You should see the size of the bl***y rats in my back alley - it's all resteraunts round here.......I've never seen such huge glossy buggers.....and they are bold - they just sit there looking at you when you walk by (w00t)

just when we are on the subject of the rspca my mate

who lives in a quite remote area had an german shepard

dumped out side his cottage we tried for days to catch it

but it was very wary and would keep its distance so he

decided to phone the rspca.they came with i could only

describe it as a fox trap on the friday told him to put

food in it and they would pick it up on the monday

we threw the trap to feck and eventualygot hold of it

its now rehomed no thanks to those twats

But my point is why does this forum allow such a useless bunch of meddlers to advertise here. Why do we give them space to ply their sick twisted tripe on us. Come on K9, get rid of them or admit you are a bunch of bunny huggers.

Wunwin have you made a financial contribution to this forum? The board receives income from the adverts at the top of the page - from the very little I know about how it works, if someone has mentioned the RSPCA in one of their threads it could have infact triggered the advert in the first place. The board needs an income to pay for the web hosting, software and god knows what else, so if people want to continue to enjoy a free forum like this then we are going to have to put up with the adverts! Unless we all pay to support the costs of the board (and some k9'ers do make a contribution)

The more you bang on about the RSPCA the longer the advert will stay

Wunwin,

If I were you I'd sweat it a little less and take glee from the fact that their ad is "falling on deaf ears". I never even really noticed the ads on here till you brought them up and no doubt the fact that RSPCA is being mentioned here more often will mean the ad will appear here even more.

Union of country sports workers, BASC, NoBS, Countryside alliance. Lets see if their adverts appear now. Somehow i doubt it.
